There is an easy energy to island life, relaxed but full of colour. It feels like sunshine, sea air and days that move slowly. A scent built around that feeling of escape.
Levant didn't begin in a laboratory. It began with a feeling, on a balcony at the Zabeel Saray, looking out over the crystal blue Arabian Sea. I wished I could bottle it.
That feeling stayed with me the whole way home to the UK, so I set about recreating it. One fragrance became two, then seven. Each one tied to a place, and a moment worth holding onto.
